We just got one of these today and I've run it through the set-up and seasoning. It's just as shown in Caleb's video here - it will be a welcome return to a true griddle for me (as opposed to the teflon-coated hell of before, that is). One thing different now apparently is that the factory leaves the white plastic adhesive covering on the sides and back these days (a cost-cutting measure at the factory, of course) - so prepare for a lot of cussin' and peeling to get all of that off there. I think we're going to like the unit though. Thanks for the review! - Ed on the Ridge

Great video! Question for you Caleb, now that it appears this was from about a year ago........ I'm about to swap out my 22" Eseries Blackstone for an actual stainless model, and was literally about to pull the trigger on the Vevor 22" one (which LITERALLY looks exactly the same as this one) and I noticed that this Dyna model is a 3000 watt griddle versus the Vevor 1600 watt. Vevor DOES have a larger 3000 watt model, 29'.......but requires a dedicated circuit. I guess, my question, based on how this one has performed (and assuming you never had any electrical challenges with so much draw on the outlet) would you recommend the 3000 watt Dyna over the 1600 watt Vevor? I'm certain the extra wattage means much hotter temps quicker as well as maintaining temps when food is placed on it. Thanks for any and all of your feedback, and keep up the great work!

These were pretty much "normal" here in Tennessee when we used to get our heavy, wet snows from the late 70's to mid 90's. Haven't had any "real" snow in 27 years. We recieved over 3" of snow in less than 3 minutes once in the late 80's and I was trying to see if anyone has filmed anything like it. I was on the phone in my apartment just about to leave for work at lunchtime. It had been raining/sleeting/raining all morning at 33°F. I suddenly started hearing, "plop-plop-plop". Turned to look out my patio door and massive "cow patties" of snow were hitting the ground - and I could hear them land inside with the windows closed! They were 9"-10" across and about 3" thick. A few minutes later they reduced to the size of a huge oak leaf about an inch thick. Has anyone seen this before?

Seems like it would be much better to use it in a pulling configuration instead of pushing. Much less sensitive to steering errors

I placed an order for the AWD Pro (non S version) last year April. The order was for a 2022 with the price at about $45K. Then VW changed my order to a 2023 (same model) but the price increased to about $47K In December VW announced they they were raising the price even for reservation holders by $1500 and the new estimate for delivery is April-June 2023. I'm inclined to cancel the order because by Summer this year, there will be better AWD EVs on the market with better range and better software.
